Netflix original, Battleground — comes out on February. I feel like campaign geeks haven’t had a show to obsess over since West Wing. Parks and Rec is pretty good too. We’ll see where this stacks up.

A man drinking a pint of nothing but loose silver glitter with a single chug. Then doing a spit take.
Going to a rave in an abandoned commercial industrial-sized chicken coop. It was actually a pretty fun party....

Fantastic silent films + the best ambient electronic duo to come out of France. YES. Air takes on Le Voyage Dans La Lune.
More from NPR:
The French duo Air has written music for films before — its compositions appear in Sofia Coppola’s Lost In Translation, The Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette — but never before had it composed music for anything as classic and internationally...

When you log into Reader, what the hell do you think your primary objective is?...

WOW! I have not been this excited for an animated feature since The Illusionist. Jean Francois Laguionie’s Le Tableau (The Painting) is a gorgeous example of 3D animation, coming out on November 23rd.
The plot, for those of you who don’t speak French, seems to be this — The wildly colorful paintings of an artist come to life and go on a quest to find their maker. Within the...

I forgot the power cable for my work laptop on my desk, so I’m back to using my broken dell. The dell with the broken headphone jack. Usually it works when I toggle it and I’ve taped it down with some clear tape — but 30 seconds through a song it cut out for good. If the headphones don’t work, the sound doesn’t work either. Can’t fix the hardware, can’t...
