The Chicago Perimeter Ride. Why didn’t I know about this earlier? Whereas Critical Mass is a celebration of cycling within the city of Chicago, the perimeter ride is exactly that — 100+ mile (also known as a century) ride around Chicago! From Calumet to Niles and back up North. An all day ordeal that this year falls on this upcoming Saturday’s weekend. Ahh, if my bike were in better condition — and perhaps other contributing members hadn’t stopped biking downtown regularly, perhaps this would be a totally doable thing! Looks fantastic at any rate.
